Seeds of Wisdom · A weekend Retreat Series

Maybe your faith feels more like routine than connection lately — and you've been wondering how to find your way back.

A weekend to reconnect — with the Quran, with yourself, and with Allah.

No Arabic needed. No prior experience. Come exactly as you are.

Why does prayer sometimes feel distant? What pulls us away, even when we want to be near?

This weekend, we won't shy away from those questions. We'll look honestly at what quietly drains our faith of its warmth — the speed of our days, the noise in our minds, the weight of things left unspoken.

Your real life, with its real questions, is the entry point. What you build here isn't separate from your work, your relationships, your fears, or your hopes.

When My servants ask you ˹O Prophet˺ about Me: I am truly near. I respond to one’s prayer when they call upon Me. So let them respond ˹with obedience˺ to Me and believe in Me, perhaps they will be guided ˹to the Right Way˺.

— Surah Al Baqarah 2:186

What a weekend feels like

Not sure what to expect? That's completely normal — most people arrive a little unsure and leave wishing they had more time.

You arrive and you're welcomed

Someone meets you at the door, learns your name, and helps you find a seat. No badge to earn, no small talk to survive.

Sessions with Dr. Nadia, then real conversation

She opens the theme; then you talk it over at small roundtables, where the honest questions come out.

Meals, downtime, and a little fun

Long tables, desert air, and time to simply be — the friendships form in these in-between hours.

Moments of reflection, and rest

Quiet windows to pray, walk, and let the weekend settle before you carry it home.

You won't be called on, tested, or made to feel behind. You'll be invited in.

What Seeds of Wisdom is

A series of 9 weekend retreats exploring the final section of the Quran — the 30th Juz' — one theme at a time.

Each retreat gathers a small group around a cluster of surahs that share a central idea. Through guided reflection with Dr. Nadia, roundtable conversation, and a few moments of genuine fun, you'll discover how the Quran's guidance speaks to the questions you're actually living with. Over the full series, these weekends deliver something rare: a road map for life, drawn from the words of the Divine.

Guided learning

Dr. Nadia opens each theme slowly, finding the beauty in the verses — never a lecture to keep up with.

Roundtable discussion

Dr. Nadia opens each theme slowly, finding the beauty in the verses — never a lecture to keep up with.

Personal reflection

Quiet time to sit with what you've heard and notice how it meets your own week, your own heart.

Real community

Shared meals, downtime, and the kind of friendships that keep growing long after the weekend ends.

The Journey

The series moves through the 30th Juz' one theme at a time — nine weekends, each complete on its own, together forming a whole.

You don't have to start at the beginning. Wherever the series is when you join, there's a place for you.
