Good Tree Institute is a Quranic education institute in Arizona dedicated to fostering spiritual growth, community connection, and personal discovery through the Quran.

At Good Tree, we offer accessible virtual and in-person Quran courses for all ages, along with spiritual retreats, teen camps, new Muslim support, and free Quran programs and workshops open to everyone.

Guided by the Quran and the leadership of Dr. Nadia Katrangi—Good Tree Chairwoman with 30+ years of teaching and mentoring experience—we are committed to creating a safe, welcoming space where individuals can strengthen their spiritual health, explore the Quran deeply, build a lasting connection with God, and engage with Quranic teachings that are both rooted in tradition and relevant to today’s world.

Our Roots

Before Good Tree Institute was officially founded, it began as a small circle of dedicated women who gathered regularly in the quiet hours between work, family responsibilities, and worship. Through reflection, inquiry, and heartfelt conversations, each woman deepened her personal connection with the Divine.

As the group grew, it became clear that this transformative process of spiritual discovery and Quranic reflection should be accessible to everyone.

At the heart of Good Tree Institute is Chairwoman and lead instructor Dr. Nadia Katrangi, who brings over 30 years of teaching and mentoring experience.

With a unique gift for bringing the words of the Quran to life in a way that is both deeply rooted in tradition and relevant to today’s challenges, Dr. Katrangi creates an engaging, welcoming environment where every question is encouraged. Her progressive yet grounded approach inspires meaningful discussions and helps students build a lasting relationship with the Quran and with God.

Our Growth

Today, Good Tree Institute has grown into the equivalent of a redwood tree—one of the tallest and strongest trees on earth. From a small seed, it has developed a sturdy foundation, strong branches, and flourishing leaves that symbolize a thriving and awe-inspiring community.

As Good Tree continues to nurture spiritual connection and support its community, our roots only deepen—ensuring that the impact of Quran-centered education and faith-based growth will extend for generations to come.
